Article - Future/People

Change doesn’t happen on its own — it changes because of the people who want it to happen.

What excites me about this industry is that there’s always a new idea or perspective just around the corner. All it takes is a little curiosity, courage, and creativity.

The next generation of designers and creatives coming through will need to call on these virtues in spades to find solutions to some of the big problems we all face. From what I’m seeing, the future is looking bright.

Future/People is shining a spotlight on the next crop — the ones asking better questions, pushing for progress, and reshaping things from the ground up. These are designers who care deeply about their craft, but also about the impact it has.

What we make (and how we make it) is shaped by who we are, what we value, and the world we want to see. So this series is a space for emerging creatives to share what drives them, how they work, and where they think we’re headed.

Each conversation is an insight into a unique creative process — shaped by little life moments and more formative ones — the thoughtful, sometimes imperfect, sometimes brilliant thoughts that help push us all forward.

Alongside their interview, each person will design something that captures their identity, energy or intent — a kind of visual signature.

I hope you find as much inspiration in these conversations as I did.
